Selection Process 

1. Written Exam 

1. Paper 1 (General Hindi): 50 MCQs, 100 marks, 1 hour. Qualifying only. 

2. Paper 2 (General Studies): 100 MCQs, 300 marks, 2 hours. Subjects – GK, Current Affairs, Science, Civics, History, Geography, Mathematics, Mental Ability. 

2. Interview (Viva‑Voce) – 50 marks. 

3. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) 

1. Men: 25 km walk in 4 hours. 

2. Women: 14 km walk in 4 hours. 

4. Physical Standards 

1. Men (UR/BC/EBC/SC): Height 163 cm; Chest 79–84 cm. 

2. Women (UR/BC/EBC/SC): Height 150 cm. 

3. ST candidates: Relaxed standards. 

5. Medical Test – Conducted by Commission. 

6. Final Merit – Written + Interview marks.
